Even-Odd Sudoku

Grey squares are even, circles are odd.

Let's Play

About the game

Some cells are marked: a grey square holds an even number, a grey circle an odd one. Fewer given numbers, more marks, and a different kind of thinking.

Rules

Fill the grid so that every row, every column and every 3×3 box holds each number from 1 to 9 exactly once.

A cell with a grey square holds an even number (2, 4, 6 or 8), a cell with a grey circle an odd one (1, 3, 5, 7 or 9).

Every puzzle has exactly one solution, so it can always be found by reasoning, without guessing. A number that breaks a rule turns red.

How to play

  1. Tap a cell, then a number below the board (or type it).
  2. A grey square holds an even number, a grey circle an odd one.
  3. Not sure? Switch on notes and pencil in the options.
