Solitaire

The classic patience: build four piles from Ace to King.

Let's Play

About the game

Klondike, the solitaire everybody knows. Turn cards from the stock, build the columns down in alternating colours and move every suit home from Ace to King. Draw one for a relaxed game or three for a real challenge, with undo, hints and an option for deals that can always be won.

Rules

Seven columns are dealt from left to right with one to seven cards; only the top card of each lies face up. The rest of the deck is the stock.

On the columns, a card goes on one rank higher of the other colour: a red 9 on a black 10. You may move a whole face-up run at once. When a face-down card comes free it turns over. Only a King (or a run that starts with one) may fill an empty column.

Tap the stock to turn one card (or three, in draw-three) onto the waste; its top card may be played. When the stock is empty, tap it again to turn the waste back over, as often as you like.

The four foundations at the top are built up by suit from Ace to King. The game is won when all 52 cards are home. When every card on the table lies face up, the rest is played out for you.

Standard scoring: 5 for a card from the waste onto a column or for turning a card, 10 for each card home, −15 for taking one back from home, and −100 (draw one) or −20 (draw three) for turning the waste over.

How to play

  1. Drag or tap a card to move it.
  2. Build the columns down, red on black and black on red.
  3. Tap the stock to turn new cards.
  4. Move all four suits home, Ace to King, to win.
